Hop aboard the passenger ferry to French Island, Victoria's koala capital, and spot protected wildlife roaming within the Mornington Peninsula National Park. Find kangaroos grazing at dusk around Sorrento Back Beach and Greens Bush, then spend a few hours at the Moonlit Sanctuary where you can discover almost-extinct native animals.
Boardwalks extend over Westernport's mangroves and the peninsula's protected wetlands, the perfect spot to greet myriad bird species.
